Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme Claims

If eligible, you can claim a grant from HMRC to cover wages for a furloughed employee, equal to the lower of 80% of an employee’s regular salary or £2,500 per month, plus the associated Employer National Insurance contributions and minimum automatic enrolment employer pension contributions on paying those wages.
How to Claim:
The portal opened on the 20th April 2020. Be prepared by ensuring you have all the necessary documentation in order to process your claim once the system is live.
What you will need:

-
Your ePAYE reference number.
-
Your Company Registration Number.
-
The number of employees being furloughed.
-
The names of employees being furloughed.
-
The payroll numbers for employees being furloughed.
-
The claim period (start and end date).
-
Amount claimed (per the minimum length of furloughing of 3 consecutive weeks).
-
Your bank account number and sort code.
-
Your contact name.
-
Your phone number.

Whilst it is up to you as an employer to decide on the length of each claim period, you will need to include all of the employees you want to furlough for each claim period, because it is not possible to make another claim for the same period or one that overlaps with it.
In addition to this you cannot amend a claim once made, but HMRC are looking at whether they can develop a process to allow this.
