HR Consultant/Advisor

UK – South East (remote working)

12 hours per week, across 2-3 days (flexible)

Salary – negotiable, depending on experience


We are looking to hire our first employee in the business to assist in the day to day HR consultancy work. The HR patch can offer flexibility in the role and opportunities to enhance your HR career with the diverse range of projects that we undertake, whilst fully supported by the Director.


Essential Skills

  • The ability to work autonomously and consistently be highly organised

  • Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to drafting documentation

  • The confidence to respond appropriately and quickly to clients

  • Strong administrative skills and use of MS packages

  • A good understanding of employee relations and employment law, but more importantly the confidence to ask questions in areas that they are unsure

  • A basic knowledge of redundancy, TUPE, fair dismissal, sickness management

  • An ethical approach to HR

  • Proven experience within an HR role


Desirable Skills

  • Experience of HR software (BreatheHR/IMPROVE/RotaCloud)

  • Ability to create and deliver HR training

  • The ability to undertake a small organisation HR audit

  • Project management skills

  • CIPD graduate or progressing towards

  • HR consultancy experience
